The Unemployment Crisis and a
Program for Jobs in a green, productive
people before profits economy
for the 21st century

This presentation contains a brief description of the unemployment crisis, and offers a program for full employment while meeting real needs of the nation's economy. The program is based on proposals from a number of sources, and includes a very rough estimate of the number of jobs created and the cost of each item. It is meant as an indication of what is objectively possible, and covers only some of the major areas where investment and jobs are needed.

  1. Download the graphic presentation as an Open Office Impress file (4.4MB), or a Microsoft PowerPoint file (4.6MB).
  2. Print the script which is available as a PDF file or an ordinary web page (html).
  3. Using Impress or PowerPoint, display the presentation while reading from the script. The script has annotations, indicating when to advance to the next slide in the presentation.
