Steamed Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 2 cups bread cubes
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon mixed spices
- ½ cup seedless raisins
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
Sprinkle bread cubes with buttermilk
Let stand until soaked
Mix well with rest of ingredients
Cook in double boiler 1 ½ hours
